Assisted Opening Knife A/O
A/O: Assisted opening knife: legal in Canada. Folding knife that can be opened with one hand using an internal tension bar. To open the knife, the user must apply manual pressure with the thumb on a button or other protrusion on the blade, which allows to overcome the resistance of the torsion bar. Once the blade is partially disengaged from the handle by this manual pressure, the torsion bar takes over.
